Day two of Daveena & Raj’s celebrations, the wedding day! All wedding guest were transported from the Sofitel to the amazing Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, located in Nadi for the marriage ceremony.

Day one of Daveena & Raj’s wedding celebrations saw the Haldi ceremony performed in the morning outside the bride and grooms room followed that afternoon by the Mendhi ceremony on the Sofitel beachfront. We are loving the culture and tradition of this wedding and the beautiful array of colour and textures.

Tanya & Daniel’s ceremony was held at the Chapel at the InterContinental followed by a reception under the stars on the Chapel lawn area over looking the beach. This wedding required us to purchase gold charger plates and cutlery and have gold sequin table runners made, Tanya had a vision and we were there to make sure it happened just as she had imagined, a big thank you to Kim, Maureen & their team from Party & Event Hire, this was a big job sourcing new decor items for us.

We are so excited to finally get this wedding up on our blog, showcasing the coming together of two different cultures. We love the tradition and vibrant colours and what a stunning couple they were!!! We counted 5 different outfits for Olivia during her 2 days of celebration.
The Indian ceremony was held on the Sofitel beachfront with the reception on the North Lawn at the Sofitel.

Let the tradition begin!! The Haldi ceremony was held at the beautiful Nadi temple followed by their Mendhi at the Tanoa International Hotel.
Olivia & Raj held a Westin blessing on the first day of the celebration prior to the Haldi & Mendhi events. The blessing was held in the Sofitel chapel.

Kelly & Oliver’s wedding was at the Westin Resort Denarau, that week Tropical Cyclone Ula threatened to hit Fiji however they only experienced strong wind and rain and as a result had to move their ceremony inside the Westin lobby. The reception was held at the Westin’s large bure by The Kitchen restaurant. The highlight of the evening was Fijian dance group that got everyone up and involved.

Stacey & Jeff were married at the Paradise Chapel at the Sheraton Fiji followed by their reception at the Westin Bure.

Another stunning wedding at the Sheraton Fiji Resort, Carla & Patrick were married in the beautiful paradise Chapel followed by their reception in the Flying Fish Restaurant which is located on the Sheraton beachfront.
Carla brought over her own artificial flowers for the wedding to tie in with her pastel pink bridesmaids dresses and the beautiful wedding cake was by Taste Fiji.
